Call out: share your volunteer stories with us
Have your volunteers been hard at work tour guiding,cataloguing collections, serving on your board or undertaking other tasks? We’d love to feature them on our website and social media!
Calling all historical, cultural and nature organisations in Scotland – we’re looking for wee videos or blogs about your volunteers!
These videos and blogs will feature on our website and social media, and be promoted across our channels during Volunteers’ Week (3-9 June).
The videos and blogs answer 3 short questions:
- What is your volunteer role and what tasks do you undertake?
- What is your favourite part of volunteering?
- How has volunteering impacted your life?
This is a great chance to feature and reward your volunteers for their amazing work! Sharing volunteers’ perspectives is also a key way that we can encourage new people to volunteer with heritage organisations. It gives those curious about heritage volunteering a sense of the breadth and type of roles available, and the reasons to volunteer.
