Showcase your volunteer programme at our 2025 conference!
Are you a volunteer-involving organisation in Scotland?
We’d love to invite you to showcase your volunteer programme at our conference on 27 February 2025 at The Engine Shed in Stirling. This year’s conference focuses on volunteer-centred support.
This is a great opportunity to highlight your volunteer programme and achievements to other volunteer-involving organisations, as well as funders and policymakers who will be in attendance.
There are two ways to contribute:
1. Submit a digital poster for display
The digital posters will be on a constant loop throughout the day on large screens situated in the atrium at the Engine Shed. This is the space where delegates will be networking and enjoying refreshments and lunch. You don’t need to be able to attend in-person or online to submit a poster (though of course we’d love for you to join us on the day, and tickets are free!).
To submit your poster:
- Download the helpful PowerPoint templates we’ve prepared. They include templates for showcasing:
- Inclusive practices you’ve adopted and the impact this has had
- Your top tips for inclusive volunteering
- Volunteer stories
- Interesting / innovative / impactful volunteer roles or volunteer-supported projects
- Anything else related to inclusive volunteering you’d like to showcase!
- Update the template with your content to create a bold and informative poster!
- Email your submission(s) (max of 2) to hello@makeyourmark.scot by Friday 7 February.
2. Participate in our volunteering newsroom
As part of the conference programme (1.45pm – 2.10pm), our Volunteer Organisers Network will host a quick fire open mic session for anyone who would like to share projects, initiatives, achievements or even just your views.
We’d particularly like to hear from volunteer managers who attended last year’s conference and what actions they’ve taken in the last year to improve the inclusiveness of their volunteer programme. To participate, sign up in advance by Friday 14 February.
