Make Your Mark, Our Past, Our Future and Volunteer Scotland have launched a heritage volunteering research project to better understand heritage volunteering in Scotland.

We're inviting heritage organisations in Scotland to celebrate Volunteers' Week with us by sharing volunteer stories and promoting volunteer opportunities.

We're pleased to announce the launch of version 2 of the Make Your Mark Inclusive Volunteering Toolkit, which is designed to support voluntary organisations in Scotland to make their volunteering programmes more inclusive.

Are you looking to involve a more diverse range of people in your volunteer programme? Make Your Mark can support 3 member organisations to co-design a volunteer taster session with a marginalised or underrepresented group in their area.

Ahead of the first annual Heritage Careers Week (28 October - 1 November), we’re looking to highlight career paths of people who volunteered with heritage organisations and then went on to work within the heritage sector.

6 months on from the launch of our Inclusive Volunteering Toolkit, we’re taking stock of our progress so far, as well as opportunities for further refinement.
